Kenneth Omeruo’s situation at Chelsea has gone from bad to worse as the defender is now training on his won following his axing from the U23 squad who are going on a training tour of Germany.
The U23s where Omeruo played his only pre season game are leaving for Berlin later today, and with the first team still away on their own training tour, the 23 year old is stuck alone in London.
Already he has voiced out his desires to go out and get regular football, but despite offers from teams in Turkey, he is pinning for a stay in England where he is hoping he will be given a chance by some clubs.
However unlike previous seasons, where he has gone out on loan, Chelsea have made it known to him that an outright sale is what they will consider, as they bid to get him off their wage book after five years with no appearance for the first team.
From all indication Chelsea will accept a fee in the region of €4m for his sale and not the €7m claimed by his agent, but so far interested clubs are yet to meet Chelsea’s valuation of the defender who has 31 caps for Nigeria
