On loan Chelsea defender Ola Aina posted another man of the match performance for English Championship side Hull City as they were held to a 0-0 draw by French Ligue 1 side Nantes.
Just like the game against Benfica, Aina was on from the start for Hull City and had a solid game in defence, as he helped in snuffing out the threat of the French Ligue 1 side.
Aina was particularly dominant in aerial duels, with his interceptions and tackle success also coming to the fore during the course of the friendly tie played at the KCOM Stadium.
He wasn’t the only Nigerian who played in the game, as one cap Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem was also on show for French side Nantes, his third game since joining the team on loan from FC Porto.
Awaziem was introduced in the 76th minutes to help Nantes preserve their lead, and the highly rated 20 year old, who was the first signing of Claudio Ranieri when he took over at Nantes didn’t disappoint for the duration he played in the game.
