Red Hot Nwakaeme On Target For Hapoel Be’er Sheva Again In UCL Qualifiers

Israeli UEFA Champions League campaigners Hapoel Be’er Sheva secured a first leg advantage in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League by beating Ludogorets Razgard 2-0.

Nigerian striker Anthony Nwakaeme who scored a brace in their last round game against Hungarian side Budapest Honved opened scoring for the Israeli side in the 19th minute to put them 1-0 up.

Michael Ohana made it 2-0 to the Israeli champions in the 79th minute, a scoreline they will have to defend in two weeks time when the return leg is played in Bulgaria.

Nwakaeme’s Nigerian teammate John Ogu was on for the entire duration of the game, but unlike the previous game where he found the back of the net, the 30 year old put in an assured performance but didn’t get on the score sheet.
