Super Eagles forward Moses Simon and five other footballers based in the Northern city of Kaduna state Nigeria have donated pair of boots to U14 kids in Kaduna state.
The players who were given the boots played against the stars during a kickabout organised by Moses Simon to help encourage upcoming players in the state to dream big.
Among the stars who donated money for the pair of boots given out to the U14 kids were Musa Yahaya of FC Porto, Friday Eze of Al-Fujairah of the UAE, Rabiu Ibrahim of Slovan Bratislava, Kingsley Madu of Zulte Waregem and Yahaya Adamu who is based in Iran.
” It’s our way of encouraging the youths of the state to dream big. As it stands now we plan making it an annual event. We know what we went through as kids growing up, so we intend to help others not to suffer same”, Simon told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” My big thanks and appreciation goes to all the players who donated to this cause. It’s a thing of joy to see the young lads play with boots from us. Such a beautiful feeling”.
