Musa Shines, Ex Eagles Ace Hope Akpan Scores For Burton In Win Over Leicester

Leicester City build up to the start of the new season suffered a setback as they were beaten 2-1 by English Championship side Burton Albion in a pre season friendly.

Forgotten Super Eagles Ace Hope Akpan who recently joined Championship side Burton from relegated Championship side Blackburn Rovers put his new team ahead with a well placed header in the 15th minutes.

Lucas Akins doubled the lead for Burton in the 29th minute before second half strike from Harry Maguire helped Leicester pull a goal back in the tightly contested clash.

Ahmed Musa was one of the brightest players on display for the Foxes with his pace troubling the backline of Burton Albion all through the encounter which he started.

Musa twice came close to scoring for the Foxes, with one of his effort drawing a fantastic save from the shot stopper of Burton Albion in the second half as Leicester City chased the game at 2-0 down.
