Newly promoted German Bundesliga side Hannover 96 have confirmed the length of time German-Nigerian forward Noah Sarenren -Bazee will be out following the injury he picked up in their recent pre season game against FC Germania Egestorf/Langreder.
Coach Andre Breitenreiter confirmed the forward has ruptured his tendon in his left thigh according to test, and initial diagnosis suggest he will be out for at least three months.
The news will no doubt shatter the plans of the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr who has been frustrated in his plans to cap the 20 year old due to injury.
Rohr will have to wait further before he can cap the forward as the latest injury setback means he will certainly miss Nigeria upcoming back to back games against Cameroon in the World Cup 2018 Qualifiers.
Known for his pace, tricks and abilities to open up defence with well weighted and times passes. His progress has been stalled by recurring injury issues for the past six months, but Hannover 96 extended his contract just before the start of pre season training.
