On loan Everton forward Henry Onyekuru has made a passionate plea to want away defender Kara Mbodj who is said to be on his way out of Anderlecht where the Nigerian is currently on loan.
Mbodj is widely tipped to depart the Belgium side before the end of the ongoing summer transfer window, but Onyekuru has pleaded with him to stay behind and help in their quest for honours this season.
” He (Mbodj) is a strong defender, I want him to stay but he knows what’s best for him. He advises me a lot at Anderlecht, and because I don’t have a place of my own yet. I spend a lot of time with him”, Onyekuru said.
” Friendship in football does not necessarily means everything, for instance I was at Eupen where I had very good friends, but I’m at Anderlecht now and I have met some really nice guys”.
