Roma Nigerian Teen Back Nura Abdullahi Make Impressive Debut For First Team

Highly rated Roma Nigerian teen right back Nura Abdullahi made a big impression in his first game for the main team of the Serie A giants.

Nura who has suffered from fitness issues, no thanks to injuries and a minor heart surgery came on for the final seven minutes of their 1-4 loss to Spanish La-Liga outfit Celta Vigo.

The 19 year old didn’t look out of place with his confidence when on the ball and his trademark style of accelerating with the ball without breaking strides was also evident in the minutes he spent on the pitch.

Signed from Serie B side Spezia, he has been handed the jersey number 22 at Roma for their upcoming competitive fixtures starting from ‎next weekend when the Serie A resumes.

His Nigerian counterpart at the club Sadiq Umar also came on as a substitute late in the game but the giant number 97 man of Roma failed to provide the magic he did when he equalised for them against Ligue 1 giants PSG.
