Exclusive – Dele Alampasu Dropped As Rohr List Three Goalkeepers For Cameroon Clash

‎Former Nigeria youth international goalkeeper Dele Alampasu has been dropped from the Super Eagles squad for their upcoming back to back World Cup Qualifiers against Cameroon next month.

Owngoalnigeria.com exclusively gathered that the 20 year old shot stopper who keeps goal for CD Feirense is not in the list of shot stopper current under consideration for the game against Cameroon.

Nigeria will take on Cameroon in back to back World Cup 2018 Qualifiers on the 1st and 4th of September respectively, but despite the goalkeepers crisis rocking the Nigerian team Alampasu is not under consideration.

Rohr has according to our source pencilled down Daniel Akpeyi of Chippa United and two home based goalkeepers in Dele Ajiboye of Plateau United and captain of the Nigeria B team Ikechukwu Ezenwa of FC Ifeanyi Ubah.

The goalkeeper is however still highly rated by the coach, but he believes he is not ripe enough for a game as important and decisive like the clash against Cameroon, which could decide the leadership of the group.

Nigeria are currently four points clear of Cameroon who are in second spot in group B, but the back to back games in Uyo and Yaounde has opened the door for the Indomitable Lions to narrow or take over the leadership of the group.
