In-Form Peter Olayinka Scores, Bag Assist To Power Zulte-Waregem To Victory


Former Nigeria U23 invitee Peter Olayinka was once again the star man for Belgium side Zulte-Waregem in their 4-0 win over Standard Liege in a First Division A game.


The 21 year old who is on a season long loan to Zulte-Waregem from Gent has been impressive for since his move to the club with a hat-trick of assist to his name in their 5-0 win over Eupen.

He followed it up with another strong performance in games against Sint Truiden and Club Brugge. The only thing missing from his fine start to the season is what he finally got in yesterday’s game against Standard Liege.

Olayinka created the first goal for his side in the 65th minute before scoring their third goal in the 73rd minutes, he also won the penalty which they converted for their 4th goal of the game.

Standard Liege had Super Eagles midfielder Uche Agbo on for the entire duration of the game. The former Granada midfielder has been ever present for the team since moving over from Watford on a permanent deal.
