Victor Moses Shines For Chelsea As Alonso’s Double Help Them Overcome Spurs

Victor Moses returned back to the starting line up of Chelsea in their 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur after missing their opening Premier League fixture due to suspension.

Moses started as part of a front three named by coach Antonio Conte and ‎helped them to a bright start with his powerful runs down the right side of attack for the Champions.

A well struck free kick gave from Marcos Alonso gave Chelsea a 1-0 lead which they maintained until the second half when substitute Mitchy Batshuayi headed into his own net to draw Spurs level.

Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris tried to initiate a quick counter attack with a throw from back but Chelsea robbed them off the ball in the midfield, and Alonso made the most of a through ball to put Chelsea 2-1 up.

Moses was on for the entire duration of the game. A sign of his state of fitness which will no glad give joy to the coach of Nigeria Gernot Rohr who is counting on the forward for their upcoming World Cup 2018 Qualifiers back to back clash against Cameroon in September.
