Former Nigeria U17 goalkeeper Francis Odinaka Uzoho who is currently on the books of Spanish La-Liga side Deportivo La Coruna says his aim this season is to be a part of the first team of the club.

Signed from Aspire Academy last summer, the 19 year old has progressed quickly through the ranks to the first team, where he was confirmed as one of the new additions to the first team during their unveiling before the start of the season.

Uzoho kept goal in two of Deportivo La Coruna pre season games and kept a clean sheet in both games, further increasing his rating at the club where Nigeria legendary goalkeeper Peter Rufai also kept goal.

He was second choice goalkeeper of the Nigeria U17 team of 2013 where Dele Alampasu was first choice and justifiably so as he was voted the best goalkeeper at the World Youth Championship.

Alampasu and Uzoho could battle it out for the first choice goalkeeper of the Super Eagles in the nearest future with Alampasu already a member of the first team, while Uzoho is keenly been watched by coach Gernot Rohr.
