The fine form of Nigerian forward Dennis Bonaventure of Club Brugge and Cyriel Dessers of FC Utrecht have been noticed by coach of the senior national team of Nigeria.
Dessers has three goals from just two games in the Dutch top flight league while Bonaventure has four goals from the first five games of the Belgium top flight league.
Although the duo were not invited for the upcoming back to back World Cup 2018 Qualifiers clash against Cameroon coming up in September, the coach has their names in his plans for future games.
“You can’t have everybody in the list at the same time, but I can confirm to you that the form of Dessers and Bonaventure has not gone unnoticed and they will definitely get their chance”, Rohr’s aide told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” Mikel Agu and Anthony Nwakaeme even John Ogu are good examples of players who kept on doing their best for their clubside leaving the coach with no option than to call them up.
” All what Dessers and Bonaventure need to do is to keep working hard and they will definitely be rewarded very soon. We have games coming up but the Cameroon game is too crucial to try new players “.
