No Roma Debut For Nura Abdullahi As Injury Curse Strike Again, Ruled Out For 6-8 Weeks


Highly rated Nigerian right full back Nura Abdullahi won’t be making his first team bow for Roma this weekend against Inter-Milan as he is set to be out for around six to eight weeks.


Nura is the deputy full back to Roma Brazilian defender Bruno Perez who went out injured in their first game against Atalanta, which opened the door for Nura to make his first team debut for the Roma based outfit.

However the injury demons that has slowed down his career since joining Roma from Spezia struck once again during the week, and he will now miss the next one to two months due to the muscle injury.

The 19 year old who missed out on a move to Barcelona after he was diagnosed with a minor heart defect ‎has been dogged by injuries the last one year, and he missed majority of last season due to niggling injuries and it also cost him a potential debut for the senior national team of Nigeria.

He was called up to the senior national team of Nigeria but his call up came at a time when he was sidelined with one of the numerous injury setback he encountered last season.
