What Anthony Nwakaeme Will Add To Eagles Attack – John Ogu Explains

Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has explained the edge new invitee Anthony Nwakaeme will add to the team when they resume camping for the game against Cameroon.

Nwakaeme was handed his first call up by coach Gernot Rohr for Nigeria’s double header World Cup 2018 Qualifiers ‎against Cameroon in Uyo and Yaounde on the 1st and 4th of September respectively.

The forward who was voted the best player in the Israeli league last season is Ogu’s teammate at Hapoel Be’er Sheva, and Ogu explained the ways the 28 year old will improve the attack of the Super Eagles.

” He is big, strong and quick and not scared of shooting from range. I have played with him for two seasons now and the one aspect of his game that most people ignore is his assist tally”, Ogu told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” Nwakaeme is deadly when it comes to delivering crosses, he is a team player. He will add goals, assist and that will be very useful when we play Cameroon next month “.
