Gent of Belgium forward Moses Simon looks set to retain his starting spot in the line up of the senior national team of Nigeria when they take on Cameroon in tomorrow’s World Cup 2018 Qualifiers.
Simon who started in the Super Eagles 0-2 loss to South Africa was one of the star performers in yesterday’s close door sessions according to details leaked to Owngoalnigeria.com.
Rated as one of the few bright sparks for Nigeria in the loss to South Africa, the forward was once again favoured ahead of Ahmed Musa as he played with the probables on the left side of attack.
His pace, tricks and dribbles made it hard for Tyrone Ebuehi who was up against him to stop him, and even Shehu Abdullahi when he was up against them during the drills.
From yesterday’s close door drills he could start on the left while Chelsea’s Victor Moses will play on the right side of attack barring any last minute change of mind by coach Gernot Rohr.
