Oud-Heverlee Leuven have completed the signing of 20 year old Nigerian winger Godwin Odibo from same team that nurtured Wilfred Ndidi Nath Boys.
Odibo trained with the Nigerian U17 and 20 team in 2013 and 2015 respectively but failed to make the cut for any major tournament played by the Manu Garba tutored side.
The Belgium second division side signed the winger on an initial one year deal with the option of another year base on variables which includes appearance and goals.
His transfer to the Belgium side further swells the number of Nigerian players who have moved to Belgium this summer to six.
Others who have moved include Abduljelil Ajagun at Kortrijk, Dennis Bonaventure at Club Brugge, Taiwo Awoniyi at Mouscron, Uche Agbo at Standard Liege and Lawal Yusuf who joined Lokeren.
