We Got What We Wanted From The Games Against Cameroon – Rohr Okays Draw In Yaounde

The Super Eagles 1-1 draw against Cameroon is a result that coach of the Nigerian team says fulfilled his target of four points from the back to back games against Cameroon in the World Cup 2018 Qualifiers.

Speaking at the post match conference, Rohr said Cameroon played better than they did in the first leg, which made it difficult for Nigeria especially as they introduced three new players into the team that played on Friday in Uyo.

” It was a different Cameroon team from the one in Uyo on Friday. It’s natural to put up a fight when you lose away and you have a chance to play at home next. They had three fresh players, while we started the game with same players”, Rohr said

” Before the game against Cameroon our target was four points from the two games, we are happy with the one point picked up here in Yaounde. My goal is to lead the team to the World Cup, we are on a good run because we still have more points to play for”.
