Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Oghenekaro Etebo was on target for his Portuguese side CD Feirense but ended up on the losing side as they crumbled to a 1-2 loss to fellow Portuguese top division side Portimonense.

Shoya Nakajima struck in the 12th and 19th minute to put Portimonense two goals up before Etebo pulled a goal back for Feirense in the 28th minute , a score which both teams failed to alter before the half time break.

The game ended with Feirense unable to draw level with Etebo lasting he entire duration of the game, where he scored his third goal of the season from six league games, a remarkable experience from last season where he scored just twice from 23 league games.

Prior to netting against Portimonense, the 21 year old found the back of the net in games against Pacos Feirera and Sporting Lisbon , a sign of how well he is progressing as a central midfielder as opposed to last season where he played mainly as a winger.
