England youth international striker Tammy Abraham has denied switching allegiance to Nigeria few hours after the Nigeria Football Federation claimed his switch is close to happening.
The 19 year old who is on loan to Swansea City from Chelsea has reportedly told the English FA that he is still available for selection, and rejects reports that he has agreed to pledge his international future to Nigeria.
Abraham who played for the English U21 in their last friendly game last month, met with the president of the Football Federation Amaju Pinnick , who claimed talks with the forward over a switch of allegations ended on a postive note.
Pinnick also claimed the process of changing his international status has already started, citing his close relationship with the father of the free scoring forward as very vital during talks.
The NFF are yet to respond to his latest statement denying their report that he has pledge his allegiance to the senior national team of Nigeria.
