Alhassan “Muazam” Ibrahim Explains Why He Missed Europa League Clash Against Milan


Super Eagles of Nigeria fringe player Alhassan Ibrahim has revealed to, the reason why he didn’t play for his new team Austria Wien in the Europa League.


Muazam as he is fondly called by close friends and associates joined the Austrian side on a year loan deal from Nigeria Professional Football League side Akwa United.

Many expected the highly rated 19 year old to make his debut in the Europa League game which they lost 1-4 but the forward didn’t make the matchday squad for the game.

” I am settling down nicely at my new club. My team-mates have been fantastic, I must say. I didn’t get to play in the Europa League because my work permit wasn’t ready before the game”, he told in an exclusive chat.

” My debut went well and am looking forward to this weekend game. I’m not under pressure to score, I am the type who puts the team first ahead of my own personal goal”.
