Orji Okonkwo Nets Winner For Bologna In Serie A Clash Against Sassuolo

Nigeria youth international striker Orji Okonkwo was the hero for his Serie A side Bologna to power them to a 1-0 win over ten man Sassuolo ‎in a Serie A game decided on Sunday.

Okonkwo was introduced by coach Roberoto Donadoni four minutes before full time and the 19 year old netted the winner for his team on the stroke of full time.

His celebration earned him a ‎yellow card, but the forward will no doubt still cherish the moment as the goal was his first professional goal, and his first goal in the Serie A for Bologna.

Last season Okonkwo made nine appearances for the first team of Bologna after his rapid rise from the youth team to the main team thanks to a flurry of goals for the Primavera team of the club.
