Former Super Eagles striker Ikechukwu Uche rolled back the hands of time as he scored a quick brace to lift his Spanish side Gimnastic to a 2-0 win over Granada in a second division game in Spain.
Uche grabbed his brace withing a space of four minutes netting in the 27th and 31th minute of the game to lift his side to a comfortable win over visiting Granada.
The brace took his tally for the season to three in seven games as he continue to rebuild his career which nose dived after he made a shocking move to Mexican side Tigres UNAL from La-Liga side Villarreal .
Last season he scored 8 goals in 24 games, his best goal return since the 2014/2015 season when he was at Villarreal and scored 6 goals before leaving for Mexico.
Once upon a time he was a firm Super Eagles fan favourite, and he played a role in their AFCON 2013 win in South Africa even though he was sparingly used by then coach the late Stephen Keshi.
