Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo struck twice to help his Chinese side Chanchung Yatai edge an entertaining five goal thriller against Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng.
Ighalo grabbed his first goal of the game in the 50th minute to put his team one goal up and he struck at the death precisely in time added on after regulation time to kill off any hope of Guizhou snatching a draw.
Although the Guizhou ended up scoring a late goal, the brace from Igalo sandwiched in between a strike from Rui Yu ensured Chanchung Yatai pick all three points to continue their climb up the table in the Chinese Super League.
The brace took his tally for the season to 14 goals in 25 League games this season for the team he joined for a transfer fee in the region of €23.3m from English Premier League side Watford in January.
He is now one goal shy of his best scoring season ever, which was the 2014/2015 season where he scored 17 goals to lead Watford to promotion to the English Premier League from the English Championship.
