The General manager of Hannover 96 Horst Heldt has confirmed that German-Nigerian forward Noah Joel Sarenren Bazee won’t be fit for Nigeria’s final World Cup 2018 Qualifiers tie against Algeria next month.
Nigeria have already qualified for the World Cup in Russia with a game to spare against Algeria next month, and Bazee whose debut for Nigeria has been delayed by injuries and fitness issues had high hope of playing in the game.
However, the General Manager of Hannover 96 Heldt confirmed even though the Nigerian has not suffer in any setback in his bid to shake off an injury picked up during pre season, he won’t be rushed into action.
Heldt explained that the forward started running three weeks ago but he is now taking it one step at a time before finally returning to full contact training next month, probably the first week of November.
He also said the club are hopefully he will be fit enough to play some Bundesliga games before the League goes on break in December, but he strongly stated that they won’t rush him back to action.
21 year old Bazee has have a runing battle with injuries for the past 18 months, but his quality earned him a contract extension at the newly promoted German Bundesliga side in the summer.
