Manager of Chelsea Antonio Conte has all but ruled Nigerian forward Victor Moses out of Nigeria’s upcoming World Cup 2018 Qualifiers tie against Algeria and friendly game against Argentina next month.

Moses injured his hamstring in Chelsea’s shock 1-2 loss to Crystal Palace in their first game after the international break, where Moses helped Nigeria qualify for the World Cup by starring in their 1-0 win over Zambia.

Since limping out of the clash against Crystal Palace the Nigerian has been out injured with the club medics confirming that he will spend at least six weeks on the sidelines, a period of time which coincides with Nigeria’s next set of games.

As reported by Owngoalnigeria.com, coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria has plans to call up Victor Moses but won’t play him in the dead rubber World Cup 2018 Qualifiers tie against Algeria, but surely against Argentina.

However Conte speaking in his pre match conference ahead of Chelsea’s game against Bournemouth said Moses is still out injured, and won’t be fit even for their UEFA Champions League ‎game against Roma next week unlike N’golo Kante.

“Moses is out, we must have patience with him. Kante is still not ready but I hope to have him back for Roma game” Conte said.
