Super Eagles of Nigeria are going to have Leon Balogun available for upcoming games against Algeria and Argentina according to the coach of his German team Mainz 05.
Balogun went off injured with a cheek bone fracture in Mainz 05 last league game against Schalke 04 which they lost 0-2, and subsequently underwent surgery last week.
However coach of Mainz 05 confirmed that the Nigeria international defender is back in training and in contention to play today when they take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
Sandro Schwarz who handles Mainz 05 didn’t list the Nigerian among players ruled out of today’s game against Eintracht Frankfurt, rather he listed him among players fit to play.
It means he is available for selection when Nigeria take on Algeria in a dead rubber World Cup 2018 Qualifiers tie against Algeria on the 10th of November, and Argentina in a friendly game four days later.
