On loan Sampdoria Nigerian left full back Stanley Amuzie had a full debut to remember for his loan side FC Lugano ‎as he was part of the team that defeated FC Schoetz 3-2 in a Swiss Cup game after extra time.

The five goal thriller ended with Lugano playing with just ten men following the sending off of Younes Bnou-Marzouk in extra time, but Domen Crnigoj goal three minutes from the end of extra helped Lugano win 3-2.

Amuzie was solid from the start of the game till the end, and he played a part in the move that lead to the first goal scored by Lugano in the 54th minutes before Schoetz levelled matters on the dot of regulation time.

In extra time, the defender who was a part of the Nigerian team to the last Olympic in Rio also took part in the move that lead to Lugano taking the lead once again, as his pass from the back started the move.

His performance will no doubt help his bid to cement his spot in the team, following his debut two weeks ago when he came on as a substitute in the 81st minutes of their 0-4 loss at home to FC Basel.
