Vincent Enyeama impending return from international exile might take a while as the 35 year old shot stopper has listed conditions that will make him accept a return to the Super Eagles.
Enyeama reportedly told coach of the Super Eagles that he would reject a return to the national team if he is 100% fit following the injury which kept him out for four months, although he is back in training.
Rohr is determined to take Enyeama to the World Cup as the coach has consistently hinted that the experience of the Lille shot stopper will be vital to his team in Russia next year.
” It’s true that Enyeama gave Rohr conditions to be met before he will give a final answer to the request of the coach for him to return back to the national team. He doesn’t want it to be on favour, he wants to earn his spot and that can only be possible if he is fit and playing regularly “, a source close to the player told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” Enyeama is working hard to get back to full fitness, sometimes double sessions, and despite his willingness to return back to the team, he has insisted he will only do that if he is fully fit and convinced that he is ready”, he concluded.
