Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Les Ferdinand has praised Arsenal Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi as the best player for Arsenal in their 1-3 loss to Manchester City at the Etihad.
Ferdinand was in the studio as a guest analyst, and the former England international tagged Iwobi as fearless while discussing the build up to Arsenal’s only goal of the game.
Iwobi’s smart turn left two City markers for dead before his pass to Aaron Ramsey lead to the Wales international laying a pass to Alexandre Lacazette who finished between the legs of Ederson for Arsenal’s only goal of the game.
” You have to look at the turn from Iwobi which started the move that lead to the goal. Clearly showed his how confident he is with the ball at his feet. He was fearless but you can’t say the same about other Arsenal players ”, Ferdinand said.
