Coach of the Fennecs of Algeria Rabah Madjer has hailed the goal scored by John Ogu in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against Algeria last night in the final game for both teams in the World Cup 2018 Qualifiers.
Ogu curled home a sweet effort from 25 yards out to give Nigeria the lead, and according to Madjer who was a forward in his playing days, the quality of the strike would beat most goalkeeper.
Madjer praised the strike by Ogu in the post match conference, when he was asked if he thought his goalkeeper Faouzi Chaouchi could have done better.
” I don’t think most goalkeepers in the world will stop that. It can beat most goalkeepers, I was impress with some aspect of our game but we still have a lot to do before our next game in March”, the coach said.
