Exclusive: Enyeama Will Not Return To Super Eagles – Close Pal Reveals


A close associate of former Super Eagles captain and goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has revealed that the out of favour Lille shot stopper is not interested in returning‎ back to the Super Eagles.


Coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has constantly voiced out his desire to have the 35 year old back in the team for the World Cup in Russia next year.

Enyeama who left the national team after a row with former coach Sunday Oliseh has however turned down the approach from from the coach to return back to the team ahead of the World Cup in Russia.

Colin Udoh who hold close ties with the former Enyimba goalkeeper said he won’t be coming back to the team despite the goalkeeper crisis rocking the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The unfortunate diagnosis of first choice goalkeeper Carl Ikeme ‎with Leukaemia has left Nigeria short in the goalkeeping department, with Rohr not completely satisfied with the goalkeepers at his disposal.
