Former Watford midfielder Uche Agbo first top flight goal ended up as the clincher for his team Standard Liege in their 2-0 win away to Genk.
21 year old Agbo who joined Standard Liege in the summer from Spanish La-Liga side, Granada first played a top flight league game in 2015 when he made his bow in the Spanish La-Liga for Granada following his promotion from the B team.
He played in two more seasons but wasn’t lucky enough to be on the score sheet although he has four other goals but all came for Granda II who were back then campaigning in the second division.
Agbo has been ever present for the Super Eagles of Nigeria under coach Gernot Rohr although he is yet to play in any competitive game, no thanks to the options available to the coach in his role.
The game against Genk where he scored is the 16th game he has played this season , a good enough reason why he has kept his spot in the Super Eagles squad in the build up to the 2018 World Cup in Russia next year.
