Argentina football legend Hernan Crespo has urged coach Jorge Sampaoli to play the duo of Lionel Messi and Paulo Dyabala in attack when Argentina begin their campaign at next year World Cup.
Grouped alongside Nigeria, Croatia and Iceland, Argentina have super star forwards available to coach Sampaoli but Crespo believe the duo of Messi and Dyabala are the most formidable.
He urged coach Sampaoli to drop Gonzalo Higuain and Mauro Icardi for the duo as they compliment each other perfectly unlike when Messi is paired with Icardi or Higuain.
“If I had to choose only two attackers for our national team I would go with Lionel Messi and Paulo Dybala who are two incredible players.
“If I had to choose between Icardi and Higuain I would make my decision based on being an Inter fan. However, the two of them could also play together up front and in any case they could both profit by working together”, he told Argentina Television sports show “Podemos Hablar”.
