Super Eagles forward Oghenekaro Etebo could leave modest Portuguese side CD Feirense in January for league giants FC Porto according to various reports in Portugal.
Etebo has been at CD Feirense for two and a half seasons, and it appears his fine form has finally caught the attention of Porto, who according to A’Bola have already open talks with Feirense over his move.
A’Bola reports that Etebo has a buy out clause of 10 million euros, but Porto are looking to land him for a fee lesser than that, with Feirense keen to do business with the Portuguese giants.
Feirense according to the publication have already told Porto that they will be informed if any offer contrary to theirs comes in for the 22 year old, who is widely expected to be a part of the Nigerian team to the World Cup in Russia.
However Porto’s coach Sergio Conceicao is yet to give the go ahead for the club to capture the Nigerian in January, even though Porto are keen to push through a deal now than later when his value could soar if as expected he plays for the senior team of Nigerian at the World Cup next year in Russia.
