Dutch top division side ADO Den Haag are currently facing a big battle to hang on to their Nigerian defender Tyronne Ebuehi, who is reportedly locked in talks with Benfica.
The Portuguese giants are reportedly closing in on the right full back, who will be out of contract in the summer after refusing to sign an extension at ADO Den Haag.
Rumoured to have signed a pre contract with English Championship side Norwich City, the defender who is expected to be at the World Cup with Nigeria denied the report.
Ebuehi who made his senior national team debut for Nigeria in their 4-2 friendly win over Argentina has been a regular at the club since last season, is however still open to a move away from the club.
Aside Benfica, Greek side Olympiakos and Belgium outfit Anderlecht have all sounded him out, but Benfica are still in the driving seat to sign him in January.
Although ADO Den Haag have resigned to losing him in the summer, the defender has hinted that a move away from the club won’t be on the premises of how much he can earn elsewhere.
