The Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) has announced four pre World Cup friendly the Super Eagles of Nigeria will play ahead of their campaign at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
According to the NFF, Nigeria who are grouped alongside Argentina, Iceland and Croatia will start their friendly games on the 23rd of March when they take on Poland in Warsaw.
Four days later, the Eagles will take on Serbia in London before taking a break for two months. Upon their return from the break, they will take on Congo in Abuja on the 28th of May.
Their last friendly game will be against England on the 2nd of June at Wembley before they begin their campaign at the World Cup in Russia later this year.
Nigeria will play her first game at the World Cup on the 16th of June against Croatia, before taking on Iceland on the 22nd of June.
Argentina will be the last group D opponent of Nigeria on the 26th of June , a game which bring back memories of past World Cup group encounters between both nations.
