The coach of Italian Serie A side Roma Eusebio Di Francesco has given the green light for Nigerian right back Nura Abdullahi to leave the club on loan.
As exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com , the 20 year old is courting interest from Serie B side Spezia and Perugia, but Roma want him to join Perugia.
The move which will be on loan will help the full back who has been severely troubled by injury launch his career as he is sure to get games, that will hasten his form and fitness.
A permanent name in the matchday squad of Roma in their last three league fixtures, Coach Di Francesco revealed during the pre match conference ahead of their game against Sampdoria that Nura could head out on loan.
“Nura? He is young and he hasn’t played a competitive game for a long time. He will probably go out on loan. However he remains a very interesting prospect for the club”, Di Francesco said.
Already Nura’s childhood friend and teammate at Roma, Sadiq Umar has left Italy for Dutch side NAC Breda in what will be his second loan spell this season after an uneventful first half of the season loan to Torino.
Highly rated Nura signed an extension to his deal with the Rome giants in the summer, a sign of how well he is highly regarded at the club despite the fact that he is yet to make an appearance for the first team.
