Spanish LaLiga side Villarreal are currently enjoying the best of their Nigerian imports Samuel Chukwueze and Jack Ipalibo as the duo have been impressive for the B team of the club.
Ipalibo who is a year old in the team has already trained with the first team severally, while Chukwueze who joined them few months ago after completing 18 years old has made a quick step up to the Reserves from the U18.
The duo were both members of the Nigerian U17 team under coach Emmanuel Amuneke, and their rise has already lead to talks about a quick progression to the first team of the club,
Speaking to Owngoalnigeria.com, Ipalibo who is now spotting a new hairstyle says the signing of Chukwueze has helped his form at the club.
” I feel so good and happy that Sammy came here. We’ve have known each other for long. Same nationality, same youth team in Nigeria, same academy in Nigeria and now at the same club. He is a brother from another mother “, Ipalibo told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” Above all Sammy has done really well since coming over to Villarreal and our aim still remain the same, which is to break into the first team and defend the colours of the club on a different level”.
