Club Brugge of Belgium are on the verge of losing talented 16 year old Nigerian forward Nazifi Yahaya who was supposed to have trials with the team but has been frustrated due to visa issues.
Yahaya was denied a travelling visa by the Belgium Embassy for the third time last week and according to his agent Cem Segar, there are interest in his service from other European clubs.
” Nazifi Yahaya will sign for an European team soon. He would sign a straight contract once he turns 18 . He should travel to train with the team anytime soon. We have also received lot of interest from teams around Europe “, Segar told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” It’s unfortunate he couldn’t secure a visa to undergo trials with Club Brugge but we are working really hard to ensure he move to a team that won’t necessarily require or give us so much hiccups”, he concluded.
The 16 year old finished as top scorer in an invitational tournament in South Africa for players under the age of 17, and he is widely tipped to lead the line for the next U20 team of Nigeria.
