Norwegian top division side Valerenga have announced the signing of Nigerian forward Peter Godly Michael on a deal which will expire in 2021 per the statement on their official website.
The 19 year old has been on trial at the club since the start of pre season, and his form has no doubt impressed the technical crew of the team, hence their decision to hand him a deal.
Two seasons ago he was the star for Nigeria Federation Cup giant killers Crown FC of Ogbomosho, a second division team in Nigeria who went all the way to the semi-finals of Nigeria’s premier cup competition.
Speaking on the decision of the club to hand him a deal, the forward who was on the radar of Belgium side Genk before his move to the Norwegian side spoke of his excitement and willingness to repay the faith the club has in him.
” That’s what I’ve been working for all the time, and I’m very pleased to have signed for Valerenga. I’ve done my best all the way, and I’ll keep doing”, he told the official website of the club.
