Robin Van Persie Salute Sadiq Umar After Dazzling Display Against Feyenoord – He Was Unplayable

On loan Roma forward Sadiq Umar has earned praises from Dutch legend Robin Van Persie following his strong display in NAC Breda 2-1 win over Feyenoord.

The Nigerian was a late inclusion into the starting line up after one of the players in the starting line up pulled up injured during the warm up. Sadiq who was originally among the substitutes took his spot in the starting line up and produced a man of the match performance.

Jololo as he is fondly called by friends and teammates was a handful for the defence of Feyenoord and had a hand in both goals scored by his team NAC Breda. Picking up the assist for the first goal before scoring the second from the spot after he was fouled in the box.

Speaking after the game, Dutch legend Robin Van Persie who was introduced as a substitute in the game by Feyenoord cited the influence of Sadiq as the reason why his team struggled against NAC Breda.
