The Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) has confirmed accepting an offer by the Qatari FA for the Nigeria U13 and U15 team to have a one week training tour in the oil rich nation later in the year.
NFF confirmed the above in a communique released after their board meeting earlier today , and also thanked the Qatari FA for the kind gesture which will help the Nigerian team gain international exposure.
“Executive Committee approved an offer from the Qatar Football Association for the Nigeria U13 and U15 National Teams to be in Doha for a one-week tour, during which the teams will play against their Qatari counterpart teams. Committee thanked the Qatar FA for the offer”, reads item 11 of the communique released by the NFF.
Alala Danladi Nasidi heads the technical crew of the Nigeria U15 which also has Haruna Usman ‘llerika’ and Ahmed Lawal Dankoli as assistant coaches , while Patrick Bassey and Ernest Salolome are in charge of scouting and training of goalkeepers respectively.
The Nigeria U13 has Jolomi Atune Ali as head coach with Jude Agada and Abdullahi Umar Tyabo as assistant coaches. Adeoye Onigbinde is the goalkeeper trainer of the team while Adewale Laloko will serve as chief scout.
