President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick has revealed what the Super Eagles of Nigeria want to achieve with their upcoming friendly game against Congo next month in Nigeria.

Nigeria will take on Congo in a friendly game as part of their preparations for the World Cup in Russia later in the year , and the game will serve more than just the primary aim of using it as a send forth game for the Super Eagles according to Pinnick.

Pinnick also revealed that the NFF will shoulder the responsibility of flying the Congolese national team to and from Nigeria for the next month’s friendly match against the Super Eagles in Uyo.

“We are making an arrangement to fly in the Congolese national team because that is our responsibility. We are not going to give them any money. We would bring them here, stay for two days and take them back to their country after the match,” Pinnick said before explaining further on the aims of the friendly and the state of sales of tickets for the England friendly.
