Victor Moses Forces Own Goal, Scores To Power Chelsea To Win Over Burnley


Dethroned English Premier League champions Chelsea picked up back to back win for the first time in 2018 after securing a 2-1 win over Burnley , which also keeps their hope of finishing in the top four alive .


Chelsea took a first half lead thanks to an own goal which was forced by Nigerian star Victor Moses as his cross off a pass from Gary Gahill was turned into the Burnley goal by Kevin Long in an attempt to clear the ball.

The goal was the third goal of the season for the Nigerian who found the back of the net against West Bromwich Albion and Brighton and Hove Albion prior to today’s goal. 27 year old Moses has already equaled his last season goal tall with five more games to go this season.

Burnley leveled through Ashley Barnes but Moses ensured Chelsea picked up all three points with a low finish six minutes after the half hour mark to put the Blues 2-1 up. A score which ended as the final score of the game which was decided at Turf Moore.
