The form of former Nigeria U20 midfielder Obinna Nwobodo at Hungarian side Ujpest continued this weekend as he was once again one of the best players on the pitch in their 1-0 win over Diosgyori VTK.
Although he wasn’t among the goal scorers, the former Enugu Rangers teen wonder who is back playing on the wings after dazzling in the role behind the striker few months ago put up a commendable shift.
For the third game running he was rated among one of the best performers for his team with a rating of 7.5 over 10. A sign of how well he impacted his team’s win which kept them third on the log.
Since joining Ujpest, the 21 year old who missed out on a move to Liverpool after picking up a nasty injury for the Nigeria U20 in the final match of the 2015 African Youth Championship has featured in 25 games with two goals to his name.
He has also been instrumental for the team in the Hungarian Cup, where they are one game away from a possible appearance in the final after beating Balmazujvaros 2-1 in the first leg of the semi-final.
