The Nigerian contingent at Portuguese side FC Porto will swell in the summer after the club turned the loan deals of Emmanuel Kuku and Isah Musa into a permanent deal.
Both players joined the team in January on loan from newly promoted second division Portuguese side Vizela, and immediately established themselves as part of the squad of the U19s of the team.
They have now been rewarded for their performance with a permanent stay at the club according to their Nigerian Intermediary Babawo Mohammed who spoke with Owngoalnigeria.com correspondent from his base in Jos.
” Kuku and Musa will remain at Porto. They won’t be returning to Vizela despite the promotion of the club to the second division in Portugal. We are hoping they will continue to progress as expected “, Babawo Mohammed told Owngoalnigeria.com.
Kuku is an attacking left footed player known for his abilities to go past his markers and also shoot well as witnessed in one of the goal he scored for the U19 in the UEFA Youth League. Musa is a right back who can also function effectively as a wing back or as a defensive midfielder.
