Nigeria international striker Kelechi Iheanacho has been rated among the worst signings of the season in the English Premier League (EPL) per a report by British based media outfit FourFourTwo .
Iheanacho was signed in the summer by Leicester City from Manchester City for a fee worth over £20m , with the club hoping that the Nigerian will provide firepower to complement the efforts of their top striker Jamie Vardy.
However the Nigerian has struggled to nail down a regular spot in the team making just five starts in the Premier League with just two goals to his name, although he scored five goals in seven Cup games for the Foxes.
His poor return led to his inclusion in the list which also has players like England international goalkeeper Joe Hart who spent the season on loan at West Ham United from Manchester City. His second loan spell after last season stint with Torino in the Serie A.
Pablo Zabaleta, Patrice Evra, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Renato Sanchez were also listed in the report, which also cited the fact that Nigerian could be battling for his future at the club unless he performs admirably well at the World Cup in Russia.
