Theophilus Solomon has handed in a transfer request to his Croatian side HNK Rijeka as he bid to force his exit away from the club he joined on a four year professional contract two years ago.
Solomon who spent this season on loan to Partizan Belgrade and later Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus wants to end his association with the club he joined as an 18 year old in the summer.
Already he has informed the club of his decision to move away on a permanent deal after playing on loan in five of the five seasons he has been on the books of the club.
” He is leaving Rijeka this summer. It’s about time, his patience has been tested for too long, now he wants to tackle his future head on and move on to a new chapter “, his guardian Mohammed Mowiz Suleiman told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” Theo just arrived Croatia from Cyprus and he will tender a transfer request to Rijeka. I think that will help ease his exit from the club. Last season they blocked him from moving to Gent and to an extent Lokeren. It won’t happen this time”, Mowiz concluded.
