Manu Garba Takes Pride In Musa Muhammed’s Display Against Atletico Madrid – He Is A Born Leader

Coach of the Nigeria U17 team Manu Garba has hailed the performance of Musa Muhammed for the Super Eagles B team in yesterday’s 2-3 friendly loss to Atletico Madrid.

Musa Muhammed captained the Nigerian team in the encounter and Manu who nurtured the defender at U17 and 20 level, where he was captain of his team says Nigerians should expect more from the Istanbul Basaksehir man.

” I have always maintained that he has the quality to play at the highest level, so his performance yesterday didn’t come as a surprise to me. He is a born leader and that is why I named him captain of my U17 and 20 team”, Manu told in an exclusive chat.

Rated as one of the surest candidate for the right back spot of Nigeria in the future, Musa lost his way following a big money move to Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir, where he is yet to get a game in the league after three years at the club.
